It gives us immense pleasure to announce the commencement of the first edition of the Social Innovation Summit by COEP’s Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership, Pune. COEP’s Bhau Institute is a startup incubator supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

We have provided incubation support to 300+ startups, facilitated the creation of over 1400 jobs, helped to generate more than 130 IPs, implemented various funding schemes such as the Startup India Seed Fund, DST NIDHI – Prayas & EIR, NIDHI SSP, and Corporate CSR funds and also supported student-led social innovation initiative -i2i.

The institute envisions a new initiative called the Social Innovation Initiative, designed to help startups in developing sustainable businesses with social impact that drives innovation for the benefit of the environment and society.

We invite Social Entrepreneurs/Innovators to join us in the initiative and be the catalyst for a sustainable future.

• The “Dr. Gauri Shah Best Ideation Award” will be presented to the top two social innovators, each receiving a grant of INR 50,000.
