MahaJyoti–Bhau Incubation Program

The MahaJyoti–Bhau Incubation Program is designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs from the OBC, VJ, NT, and SBC categories in Maharashtra who possess a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and have technology-based innovative business ideas.

The objective of the program is to provide financial assistance through MahaJyoti to develop innovative prototypes and startups, and COEP’s Bhau Institute of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Leadership, Pune, will provide expert mentoring, incubation support, and business guidance to the selected beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Program Duration and Responsibilities

Selected beneficiaries must develop a prototype and work towards converting their idea into a startup within one year.

Beneficiaries are expected to work full-time on their startup throughout the program duration.

Beneficiaries shall not avail financial assistance under any other MahaJyoti scheme during the program period.

Participation in the mentorship sessions, guidance programs, and evaluation processes organized by COEP’s Bhau Institute is mandatory.

Beneficiaries must submit periodic Progress Reports to COEP’s Bhau Institute.

Application Process

Financial Assistance

Selected beneficiaries will receive financial assistance of ₹25,000 per month for a maximum period of one year, for prototype development and startup growth. The financial assistance will be released based on the beneficiary’s progress reports and the recommendation of COEP’s Bhau Institute.
